I'm endlessly fascinated about what is trending on Pinterest. What people save and make on the social platform is always an indicator to me what people actually aspire to make at home. That's why I was super excited when they released their top trend predictions for 2018 last week, which included things like healthy coffee, ghee, and mocktails.

Before we leap forward, however, I want to take a step back and review all the most popular recipes on Pinterest for 2017. Kitchn covered over 40 recipes that were trending on Pinterest this year. Some of them were more popular than others. For example, this zucchini recipe was saved over 750,000 times on Pinterest this year. And this slow cooker recipe was saved over 570,000 times this year.
