Joanna Gaines Shares the Cover of Her First Cookbook — Kitchen Heroes
Joanna Gaines announced that she was writing a cookbook earlier this year, but we haven't received a ton of details about the project. Until now. Yesterday Gaines showed us what the cover of Magnolia Table will look like on Twitter, and also shared a few of the recipes that you'll be able to find in the book when it's released in April. While the cookbook won't be here in time for Santa Claus, it'll probably make the perfect Mother's Day gift.
As the internet sighed a collective sigh when Chip and Joanna decided to call it quits on their beloved television show Fixer Upper, people everywhere started chomping at the bit for what was next!

- Joanna Gaines the flamethrower! (give her time Mel Brooks, she'll do this one too!)
Her first cookbook is slated to hold 125 classic recipes from Joanna's life with her husband Chip and their four kids. There will be ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and dessert. This book seems to stay true to her roots and upbringing and also adds a bit of spit, polish and something special to things such as mac and cheese, peach Caprese, fried chicken with sticky poppyseed jam and her tried and true recipe for chocolate chip (Gaines) cookies.
Yesterday she released an image of what the front of the cookbook will actually look like.
Joanna also released a few recipes to whet your whistle over on her blog, all of which are included in her new book. You'll notice interesting details such as the mac and cheese recipe includes not only scrumptious Gruyère but also processed cheese. Make sure to hop over to Magnolia Market to take a look and get a head start on making some mouthwatering fare.
