Shopping for someone who lives and breathes (or, you know, drinks a lot of) coffee and/or tea? We have obsession-worthy gift ideas that may just rival their caffeine addiction. You can check out our full list of recommendations here; below, we've highlighted a few winning picks.

Coffee Grinder

The first step to better coffee is grinding the beans to your exact specification; to do that, the brewer's going to need a coffee grinder. While a burr grinder is pricier than a blade grinder, it's better at the job. This one is significantly cheaper than its competitors, but in our experience, it performs just as well.

Pour-Over Coffee Brewer

Another way to help someone step up their coffee game is to get them a pour-over coffee brewer, which is guaranteed to produce a better cup of joe than one of those cheap automatic drip coffee makers. This small, solid porcelain piece is perfect for both the home and the office, and while the manufacturer says it produces two to four servings, we think it makes an excellent 12-ounce single-serving cup. (N.B. You may want to spring for some of these coffee filters to give alongside.)

Electric Kettle

Maybe they already have a pourover coffee brewer, or maybe they aren't into coffee at all, but they really like their large variety of teas; in either case, this electric kettle—the best performer in our review of kettles—is a great gift. Since different teas are best steeped at different temperatures, it's particularly well-suited to tea lovers, but a coffee nerd would find it useful as well. (For a very dedicated coffee nerd, you may want to consider this kettle, because the long spout makes precision pouring for pourover coffee brewers much easier.)

Espresso Machine

Do you want to go big for Christmas? This Breville espresso machine is just the ticket. Definitely a gift for the coffee obsessive, it can take a little while to figure out how best to use it and tailor the settings to your specific tastes, but it has a built-in burr grinder and an adjustable infusion time, and it will eventually make an impressive cup on the regular for anyone who takes the time to figure it out.

Milk Frother

For those who don't have the space (or the desire) for a full-on espresso machine, but still have a preference for a crown of frothy milk on their espresso drinks, the Nespresso milk frother outperforms a lot of the other dedicated milk frothers on the market. It yields a foam that's a very close approximation to the one produced on by an espresso machine's steaming wand.

Nice Espresso Cups

You can't go wrong with a set of nice espresso cups, and espresso cups made by Le Creuset will most likely be doubly welcome to the coffee lover. A good (-looking) gift that won't break the bank and has the potential to last forever.

But Wait, There's More!
