November 20, 2017

Is there anything a slow cooker can't help with? Cocktail parties? Check! Thanksgiving dinner? Yep! You can even make a bunch of holiday gifts in your slow cooker! It's true. You can make a big batch of presents and then package them up separately to gift to several different people.

Obviously cute packaging is very important here. Make use of tiny bags, Mason jars, and small cardboard boxes and finish with a pretty ribbon for added flair.

Check out these ideas and you'll be covered when it comes to hostess gifts, tokens for your kids' teachers, and presents for your neighbors. These easy DIY gifts can all be done in the slow cooker.

1. Candles

Candles don't have to be expensive or hard to make. This slow cooker version allows you to make multiples at once without having to pour hot wax. Finish each jar with a pretty ribbon and a sprig of greenery for a festive touch.

4. Bacon Jam

Sweet and savory, bacon jam would make a slice of cardboard taste delicious. But we suggest using it on grilled cheese, including it in a cheese plate, or slathering it onto a piece of toast — its many uses means it might just be gone before the new year.
