It's admittedly so unappealing that it may be too much for some of you to even look at. But the craziest part is that the tweet goes so far as to claim that strawberries are better than pineapple on pizza.

Wait, what? You've got to be kidding. This sounds like a sick version of the sweet and savory combos we love, and we just can't get behind it. As expected, the vast majority of reactions online were a mix of horrified, enraged, and completely aghast. Some people still can't believe it's even real. One user even bravely called out Gordon Ramsay to ask for his unwaveringly honest opinion; we're still waiting for him to weigh in on the scandalous concept.

Unsurprisingly, the photo garnered equally negative reactions on Tumblr, with comments like "I would rather die," and "Delete this before someone dies," while another called it a "cursed image."

Meanwhile, one Twitter user egged all of the haters on, asking "Why stop there though? Put apples and grapes on there. They pair those with cheese all the time!" Not exactly sure how red-sauced pizza is at all similar to a bread and cheese board, but we appreciate your spirit — however cringe-worthy it may be.

Of course, there is a right way to do fruit pizza and it involves cream cheese frosting on a cookie crust. So let's just keep it at that.
