Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged to be married in St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018, so there'll be a few more months of speculation before we finally get to see the dress, the menu, the cake, and all the other royal wedding components in their full glory. But details are starting to leak out, and it sounds like they've even picked out their caterer.

According to Town & Country, the couple has reportedly hired U.K. catering firm Table Talk to create the food for their wedding breakfast and reception. Kensington Palace has not officially confirmed that Table Talk has been hired for the upcoming royal wedding, but it seems like a pretty good guess. Table Talk is the same catering company that prepared the food for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011, and Pippa Middleton's wedding last year.

According to Food & Wine, Table Talk is a well-regarded U.K. catering company that boasts its ability to provide "restaurant-quality" food in private settings. The company employs professional mixologists and sommeliers — which is good, because Meghan Markle likes great red wines and well-made Negronis — and executive chef Ebbi Buchmann has cooked for several prime ministers.

The company also has a "crown listing" that allows it to cook at historic royal palaces, which is of course essential in this case.

The couple is reportedly breaking with tradition in their choice of dessert, though. Traditionally, guests bite into a slice of fruit cake after a British royal wedding. Queen Elizabeth's wedding cake was nine feet tall and weighed over 500 pounds! But Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rumored to be interested in a banana cake instead. Prince Harry reportedly loves bananas, and bananas are said to have a special meaning for the couple because Meghan Markle posted this cute photo shortly after they started dating.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding will reportedly be much smaller and simpler than Prince William and Kate Middleton's enormous 2011 nuptials, which were a big state event. But it sounds like the food and wine will be just as good.

All that grand food is expensive, of course, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be paying for it themselves. The royal family says it will cover the costs of the event, just like it did for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011.

"As was the case with the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, The Royal Family will pay for the core aspects of the wedding, such as the church service, the associated music, flowers, decorations, and the reception afterwards," confirmed Kensington Palace in an official statement shortly after the engagement was announced. Considering that experts estimate the royal wedding will generate up to $677 million for the British economy, it sounds like a pretty good investment.
