Sheet Pan Garlic Lime Salmon Fajitas

I have got an amazing sheet pan dinner to share with you today!  One that is jam packed with so much flavor you are going to want to put this meal on repeat.  Tender and flaky salmon gets infused with garlic lime fajita seasonings and cook in just one sheet pan while peppers and onion roast to perfection.

Since Lent is upon us, I am teaming up with McCormick to help spice up your Friday fish favorite.  You don’t need to compromise on flavor at all with this one, and you can have a delicious one sheet meal while observing Lent.  McCormick delivers again with big flavor and premium quality spices all in this fajita seasoning mix packet.  The flavor is absolutely incredible.

How do you make Sheet Pan Garlic Lime Salmon Fajitas?

You start by placing the salmon on your sheet pan.  Surround the salmon with chopped peppers and onions.  Mix together your fajita seasoning mix, olive oil, water, garlic and lime juice together and baste over salmon.  Pour the rest of the seasoning over the peppers and onions and toss to coat.

What is the best way to bake salmon?

Place salmon, skin side down, on a non-stick baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees until salmon is cooked through, about 12 to 15 minutes.

How do you know if salmon is done baking?

Check the fillet, until the thickest part flakes through the entire thickness when you pierce the fillet with a fork. Pull the fillet apart in a small section, if needed, to determine if the salmon is done.

Is Salmon supposed to be pink when cooked?

Salmon does not turn white unless it’s severely inedibly overcooked. Raw salmon is kind of a translucent orangey color, cooked salmon is a medium-light pink when cooked. If it is opaque and flaky, it’s cooked.

This sheet pan meal came out so perfect that our family couldn’t get enough!  Even my son who isn’t a salmon eater loved this meal.  The hubby and I especially loved this meal because it is keto friendly.  It is delicious served as is, or you can load up a tortilla with the salmon, peppers, chopped cilantro and some avocado.

The flavor of this meal is incredible and I know that your family is going to love it just as much as we did!
