Weekends are for waffles!  Do you agree? I have always loved making special breakfasts on the weekend for my family like buttermilk pancakes and waffles. I love my waffle irons so much. I can’t imagine living without one! The simple way to go is to just buy waffle mix at the store, add water and make some waffles. But I think you will find that homemade waffles like these Buttermilk Brown Sugar Waffles are so much more delicious, and they’re easy to make too.

What’s the best kind of waffle iron?

I love waffles so much that I have two waffles irons!  I actually like them both a lot. When I’m making breakfast for a crowd, I turn to my Cuisinart Waffle Iron, which can make two Belgian waffles at a time. This waffle iron is a powerhouse, and you can make a lot of waffles in a short period of time.

When it’s just two or three of us enjoying breakfast, I like to use my Hamilton Beach 2-slice Belgian waffle maker. It’s the perfect size for a smaller crowd.
