Rosé Sangria is a fruity sangria that is perfect for summer entertaining.
I love to make this Rosé sangria for summer barbecues. It has fresh watermelon and fresh raspberries swimming around in the pitcher, and both of those fruits scream “summer” to me. You’ll want to double the recipe because everyone loves a delicious sangria option at a party!
How do you serve sangria?
If you have a pitcher and glasses set, use that. Otherwise, you can put the sangria in a glass bowl with a ladle. Use short cocktail glasses for serving.
Ingredients needed:
- of
- triple sec or Grand Marnier
- simple syrup or agave nectar
- fresh raspberries
- cubed watermelon
- peach
- lime
- ice
How to make Rosé Sangria:
The complete, printable recipe is at the end of this post.
How to make simple syrup:
To make your own simple syrup, add equal amounts of sugar and water to a saucepan. Heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool before using.
How to make a sparkling rosé sangria:
If you want to expand the servings for the sangria, add a couple of cups of club soda just before serving. This will make it a “sparkling” sangria. You can also use champagne in place of the rosé.
If you chill the rosé sangria long enough, you won’t need to use ice in the glasses. Otherwise, add a few cubes. Be sure to scoop up plenty of fruit to include in each glass. I like to provide forks or spoons and keep them on the table so my guests can scoop up and eat the delicious, sangria-soaked fruit as they sip their cocktail. Enjoy!
